Cookies, local storage, analytics, and similar technologies
This Cookie Policy explains how Cyril Nima Creative uses cookies and similar technologies through zerotoaiartist.com, the Zero to AI Artist account, course, checkout, and Member Hub. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
1. What These Technologies Are
Cookies are small files stored in a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, authentication tokens, pixels, software identifiers, and server-side logs. They can remember a session, secure an account, process a payment, deliver video, store a preference, or measure usage.
2. Categories We Use
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Passwordless sign-in, secure sessions, fraud prevention, checkout, payment, video playback, Member Hub operation, and remembering privacy choices. | Required to provide the service. These cannot be disabled through Cookie Settings. |
| Functional | Remembering optional interface, subtitle, playback, language, or display preferences. | Used when needed for a feature you request. Some may require consent depending on the technology and location. |
| Analytics | Understanding page visits, navigation, course usage, device types, and technical errors so we can improve the experience. | Optional for every user. Disabled until accepted through Cookie Settings. |
| Advertising | Retargeting, cross-site advertising, or ad-personalization. | Not used at launch. |
3. Strictly Necessary Technologies
Necessary technologies may be used to:
- Request, verify, and complete passwordless sign-in;
- Maintain an authenticated session and allow logout across devices;
- Protect accounts and rate-limit suspicious sign-in requests;
- Remember cookie and privacy choices;
- Operate Stripe checkout and payment security;
- Deliver protected course videos and subtitles;
- Maintain course progress, account settings, and Member Hub access; and
- Balance traffic, prevent fraud, and keep the website secure.
Blocking necessary technologies through your browser may prevent sign-in, checkout, video playback, account access, or Member Hub features from working.
4. Basic Product Analytics
We may use PostHog for basic product analytics. When enabled, analytics may collect information such as pages visited, navigation events, buttons selected, general course events, browser, device, operating system, approximate region, referring page, and technical errors.
At launch, analytics is not intended to use session replay, record keystrokes, capture sign-in codes, collect complete payment information, read private form content, capture Member Hub post text, or copy uploaded files.
PostHog analytics remains off until you select the analytics option. Rejecting analytics does not prevent access to the website, free episode, purchased course, or Member Hub.
5. Payment and Checkout Technologies
Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies to operate checkout, recognize a device, authenticate a payment, prevent fraud, calculate taxes, issue receipts, and manage payment disputes. These technologies are governed partly by Stripe’s own privacy and cookie information.
Cyril Nima Creative does not receive or store your complete payment-card number or security code.
6. Video and Course Technologies
The course uses protected video-delivery and playback technologies. These may process session, device, network, playback, and security information needed to stream requested content and remember subtitle settings.
Technologies strictly necessary to play content you request may operate without optional analytics consent. Optional engagement analytics follows your Cookie Settings choice.
7. Cookie Choices
The website provides a cookie notice with clear options to accept analytics, reject optional cookies, or open Cookie Settings. Optional cookies must not be treated as accepted merely because you continue browsing.
You can change or withdraw your choice through the Cookie Settings link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before the change.
8. Typical Durations
| Technology | Typical duration |
|---|---|
| Sign-in and security code data | Short-lived and expires after use or the applicable verification period. |
| Authenticated session | Until sign-out, session expiry, revocation, or the configured security limit. |
| Cookie preference record | Up to 12 months before the website may ask you to confirm your choice again. |
| Functional preferences | For the session or until the preference is changed or cleared. |
| Basic analytics identifier or storage | Up to 12 months when analytics is accepted, unless a shorter production setting applies. |
| Payment and fraud technologies | For the period determined by Stripe based on security, payment, and legal requirements. |
The exact cookies, storage keys, providers, and durations active on a given visit may vary by browser, location, account state, and feature. The live Cookie Settings panel should display the current list and must be updated whenever the production configuration changes.
9. Browser Controls
Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies and clear local storage. Blocking all browser storage may prevent sign-in, payment, video playback, preferences, or Member Hub features from working correctly.
10. Third-Party Links
The course and Member Hub may contain links to third-party AI platforms and other websites. Their cookies and privacy practices apply after you leave Zero to AI Artist. Affiliate links, where used, are disclosed near the relevant link.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy when technologies, providers, purposes, or legal requirements change. If a new optional tracking purpose is introduced, the website will request a new choice where required.
